Hex Bolts
Hex bolts are one of the most widely used types of bolts. Its Class A and Class B bolts are used for important applications where high assembly accuracy is required and subjected to large shocks, vibrations or alternating loads. Its C-class bolts are used in applications where the surface is rough and the assembly accuracy is not high. The threads on the bolts are generally ordinary threads. The common threaded bolts in West Asia have good self-locking properties, and are mainly used on thin-walled parts or subjected to shock, vibration or alternating load. Generally, the bolts are made into partial threads, and the full-thread bolts are mainly used for bolts with short nominal length and occasions requiring longer threads.
Hex flange bolt
The head of the hexagonal flange bolt consists of a hexagonal head and a flange surface. The ratio of the “support area to the stress area” is larger than that of the ordinary hexagon bolt, so the bolt can withstand higher preload. The loose performance is also good, so it is widely used in automotive engines, heavy machinery and other products. When the hexagon head is used with holes and slotted bolts, the bolts can be mechanically locked and secured.
